During the last decades in India,the major consideration of a web page design was the aesthetic appeal. A good web designin India would be intuitive and user friendly. The beauty and ease of use of a web page would only matter when a visitor is able to reach the website. With the growth of world wide web at a drastic rate, the competition is increasing like never before. Therefore,it is important for the website to get enough traffic first.

Generally, it is assumed that Search Engine Optimization will be done after the website is prepared. In reality, the earlier it starts, the better it is. While designing, the designers must know what needs emphasizing and what titles and keywords would be important. Keywords and key phrases, used in titles, navigation schemes and cross links etc also considered while ranking the web pages. The splash page should not simply be a full page of advertisements or a lively animation. It would definitely amuse the visitors of the website but it is better to use some text also for the purpose of popularity. Such splash pages, specially the ones that take time to load could be quite annoying for users with slower systems.

The reason for this is that the search engine spiders that crawl on our websites looking for keywords, do not index the text written in flash. They simply neglect flash items. Having the text written in flash also written alternatively in your website is one good idea. Using frames is a good idea for classifying objects, but from SEO perspective, it is an absolute no. Some crawlers can not crawl into the frames. Usage of Flash and frames are known as ‘SEO Suicide’. With the changing times, India has upgraded its perspective and the web designs that are now created in India are SEO smart( SEO services ). Understanding the search engine criteria is a basic skill needed for web site designers in India. It helps build a solid foundation on which other search engine optimization(SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) techniques can be applied.
